Ratloop Games Canada and Frontier Foundry offer a new pull and details on The Gate of Lemnis at the PC Gaming Show and it looks a lot more… strangers, than you might think. As a space-based first-person shooter strategy, it involves taking turns players to defeat their enemies. It launches on August 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, PC and Xbox One (with Xbox Game Pass) with the beta release coming to PC in July.
Essentially, players receive 25 seconds each turn that can be used to attack or set the next action. However, depending on what you do, your competitor may interrupt an action in their time. In the other five areas, you have to find a way to get the win. It has different teams of characters with their own unique loads and special abilities including time slows, defense orbs and more.
Squads consist of ten people and you are responsible for coordinating the game plan for survival. The Gate of Lemnis it’s emotional and you can bet there will be more gameplay in the lead-up to launch. Stay tuned for more announcements from the PC Gaming Show right now.
