XSEED and Marvelous Games provided an update on the development for Rune 5 Factory, announces a delay in early 2022 for Western liberation. A new gameplay trailer has been revealed though and fortunately, English localization is shaping up well. Check it out below.

Managing a hero called Ares / Alice who suffers from memory loss (and that’s how Rune 4 Special Factory started as well), the player is actively helping the people of Rigbarth. Along with farming and fishing, one joins a band of rangers to fight monsters. Combat is seeing some improvements especially when it comes to adding powerful combination attacks. You can also tame monsters that come in handy during battles.

Rune 5 Factory releases for the Nintendo Switch only. It is currently available in Japan so stay tuned for more gameplay in the coming months. In the meantime, Rune 4 Special Factory is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC this Fall after releasing for the Nintendo Switch last year.
