tech supersampling AMD at FidelityFX Super Resolution (or FSR) launches later this month, on June 22, and so on, a new report seems to have spilled the beans on what kind of help we can expect to see it for him in the near future. Report on VideoCardz, which says they’ve reached out to its sources, leaked possible details on which games will support FSR when it launches, which games will add support soon, and which developers support it on this at present.
When FSR launches on June 22, it is said to be supported by seven games, namely: The Riftbreaker, Anno 1800, Terminator Resistance, 22 Racing Series, Evil Genius 2, KingShunt, a Godfall.
In the meantime, it is claimed that plenty of major upcoming games are also planning FSR support. The twelve games mentioned in the report are Far Cry 6, Resident Evil Village, Gate 3 Baldur, DOTA 2, Farming Simulator 22, Forspoken, Swordsman Remake, Necromunda: Hired Gun, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, Asterigos, Edge of Eternity, a Myst.
Finally, the report claims that a total of 44 developers and publishers across the industry are currently working with AMD’s FSR. It’s a big list with a number of big names, including people like Team Bloober, Crystal Dynamics, Focus Home Interactive, Rebellion, Capcom, Environment Agency, Gearbox, Larian Studios, Obsidian Entertainment, Valve, Turtle Rock Studios, Koch Media, Avalanche Software, Ubisoft, WB Games, and many others.
This is still an unconfirmed report, so take it with a pinch of salt for the time being, but with FSR launching in just a few days, we should start getting much more concrete information very soon.
Meanwhile, Microsoft also recently said they were “excited by the potential” of FSR, and more details on support for Xbox Series X / S will be shared “soon.” Read more about that here.
