0 5

The time has finally come and the next-generation of gaming is officially here as the Xbox Series X|S consoles emerge from warehouses around the world. To mark such a momentous occasion, TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 57 is going to be an Xbox Series X|S special. Our team delved into everything surrounding the launch, including the hardware and a varied selection of games. So please, sit back and enjoy!

Join Gareth, James and Richard as they share their thoughts about the arrival of the Xbox Series X|S. In regards to the hardware, they go over the size, design, weight, what’s included for your money, and peripherals like the new controller. There are plenty of features to discuss too, such as Quick Resume, new apps, and the ‘new’ dashboard, alongside TheXboxHub trio’s immediate storage concerns.

Naturally, the team also gave their first impressions on some of the biggest games optimised for Xbox Series X|S, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Yakuza Like A Dragon, Watch Dogs Legion, Planet Coaster and Tetris Effect Connected. In contrast, they took a look at how older games perform on the new consoles, such as Forza Horizon 4, Halo The Master Chief Collection, and FIFA 21. Surprisingly, the best experience they had came from an unlikely source, so tune in to discover what that was!
