Undertale was and still is a feeling, so having more of his off-beat sequence played Deltarune always a feast too. That said, it wasn’t his discharge cadence most often. Deltarune Chapter 2 recently launched for PC and Mac, but almost three full years came three years after the first episode came out – which is a pretty huge gap, and it makes one wonder how long it will be before the whole game is over.
In an update following Chapter 2 launch nonetheless, developer Toby Fox briefly touched on that topic, and confirmed that the next three (and final) episodes of Deltarune following a different release schedule. Fox confirms that episodes 3, 4, and 5 of the game will all be released together so that there are no huge gaps between release, and he also added that, unlike the first two episodes of the game, they won’t loose (and together it will cost more than Undertale, although an exact figure has yet to be determined).
“I had originally intended to release episodes only when they were all finished, but honestly, it’s hard for creators and fans to go for a long time without being released,” Fox wrote. “So I changed my mind. I think most people will be happy about this.
“My next goal is to complete Chapters 3, 4 and 5 for next time. Then, at that point, I ask people to buy the game, for the first 5 episodes (including 1 and 2). I don’t know the price yet, but it’s definitely going to cost more than Undertale. ”
Here’s hoping we don’t have to wait too long before we can play more things Deltarune– though, of course, more than that, we hope whenever the next part of the game arrives, it’s worth how long we have to wait for it.
Chapter 1 o Deltarune available on PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, and PS4, but Chapter 2 not yet launched for the previous two. No word yet on when (or if) the game will be coming to Xbox.
