New amiibo figures and major new releases from Nintendo go hand in hand, and with it Dread Metroid being Nintendo’s big Switch game for the end of 2021, it’s no surprise that they’re doing the same with it. A double pack containing figures for Samas Aran and the new EMMI robots alongside the game is expected in October, but those in Europe and the UK will have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on them .
Nintendo has confirmed on Twitter because of “unexpected shipping delays”, Metroid Dread’s The amiibo package has been delayed in the UK and Europe by a month, and will now launch on November 5. The game, though, is still on track for its planned launch, Nintendo is slowing down mind, so don’t worry about that.
The Samus amiibo in the in-game double pack can be used once for permanent health gain, while the EMMI amiibo robot is used to permanently increase missile capacity. Of course, even with the delay, there’s a very good chance that many people won’t be able to buy the figures early, what with such a thin availability.
Dread Metroid launches for the Switch on October 8.
Due to unexpected shipment delays, Metroid Dread’s 2 amiibo package is now due to launch across the UK and Europe on November 5th. Metroid Dread will still launch for the Nintendo Switch on October 8th as originally scheduled. We apologize for the delay.
