In a recent blog post on the officer Battlefield site, DICE has revealed that Battlefield 2042 uses Epic Games ‘Easy Anti-Cheat’ as his favorite counter fraud option. The same counter-cheats are used in several games, including EA’s own games Apex Legends.
Easy Anti-Cheat is a great choice for the game, as the developer won’t have to focus too much on the security side of things and instead can devote those time and resources to bringing more content to ‘ r game. In addition to this, Epic Games has also confirmed that Easy-Anti Cheat will be supported on Linux and Mac. along with Proton API compatibility for the Steam Deck, although running the game on SteamOS Steam Deck will require additional compatibility with the game launcher.
Battlefield 2042 will release in November this year for all major platforms. The game has recently been postponed from its release in October, but fans can look forward to seeing the open beta later this month.
