Elden ring it recently had a delay of its previously planned launch date of January by about a month, but those itching to get their hands on FromSoftware’s open-world action RPG may have the chance to dip their toes in the water not far from now. Publisher Bandai Namco has publishing closed network test for the game.

The publisher says the closed test will be used to help “improve product quality.” Players must register for the test by November 1, with the test itself due to start on November 12. It will be held over five sessions over the next few days thereafter:

  • Session 1: 12 pm – 3 pm, November 12th 2021 CET
  • Session 2: 4 am – 7 am, November 13th 2021 CET
  • Session 3: 8 pm – 11 pm, November 13th 2021 CET
  • Session 4: 12 pm – 3 pm, November 14th 2021 CET
  • Session 5: 4 am – 7 am, November 15th 2021 CET

There are no details yet on exactly how much content will be included in the beta, but that will likely be revealed in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that. You can also check out a short announcement teaser for the network test below.

Elden ring launches on February 25, 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. He recently released a short gameplay clip of the game, showing a glimpse of his open world. Read more about that throughout here.
