Crytek is known for pushing graphics to its limit Crysis games, and the feeling is really about Hunt: Showdown also. The game still boasts some great images, and current-gen console owners have gotten some much-needed performance updates in its latest piece.
As detailed in a Reddit post, update 1.7 is available across PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. The developer has removed the 30 fps frame cap, and the game offers performance of up to 60 fps. Of course, performance will vary across platforms. Furthermore, there seems to be no mention of any resolution or other visual upgrades of any kind.
The patch will also have a reconnection support feature, as well as personal uploads added to the game. Crytek also promised that its next update will focus on having a consistent and stable 30 fps experience for the PS4 and Xbox One, and that the patch should come out sometime next year.
