Finnish developer Mainframe has previously confirmed that it is working on a new MMO that will first be played via remote servers, and said the game will be exclusive to Xbox platforms.

In the meantime, though – according to author Jeff Grubb, who previously reported the aforementioned details – the game will be a multiplatform title. According to Grubb, who talked about this in the recent GamesBeat Decides podcast, Mainframe has raised $ 23 million in funding, though not from Microsoft, and the that is, the game is no longer designed to be Xbox-specific, but will be a multiplatform title. Grubb also noted that, apparently, “they played with each other to try to increase the amount of money they earned.”
