Infinite’s Halo the campaign is out today after more than a year of delays, finally bringing fans the next episode of Master Chief’s tour. Not without some issues, especially with regards to the images, but 343 Industries has also warned against using Quick Resume on Xbox Series X / S. Basically, while playing the campaign, you will find various armor lockers that unlock cosmetics for multiplayer.
However, as community director Brian Jarrard said on Twitter, “If you are offline, or disconnected from services – which may occur after a Quick Restart – the make-up will not appear in your MP list “Thankfully, this does not mean that you lost your chance to win it forever. Jarrard continued by stating,” The team is aware and eventually we will have a retrospective repair (you will get the make-up you’ve earned). “
In the meantime, he cautions against being offline while exploring Zeta Halo or continuing a Quick Resume session. 343 Industries is also working on a solution to allow players to replay campaign missions but currently has no ETA for the same. So stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
Infinite Halo currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC as well as playable via Xbox Game Pass.
PSA: While playing #HaloInfinite campaign you will come across armor lockers containing cosmetics for your Spartan MP. If you are offline, or disconnected from services – which can occur after a Quick Restart – cosmetics will not appear in your MP list. (1/2)
