Destiny 2 – Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack Content is Not Leaving Anytime Soon

0 3

Bungie’s next big expansion for Destiny 2, Queen of the Witch, arriving in February. However, the developer dropped a fairly substantial content package in December with the Bungie’s 30th Anniversary Pack. It offers a standalone Dungeon, some unique make-up and access to weapons like the Gjallarhorn, all of which have been well-praised.

With the Destiny Content Vault still a thing, however, some concern is when this content will be deleted. According to the game’s director, Joe Blackburn on Twitter, “it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.” This was in response to a query from Young Horses president Philip Tibitoski (who developed Bugsnax) on whether the content would be available until Queen of the Witch launch or until December 2022.

Of course, this does not mean that it will not be moved at all down the line. Refused launched in September 2018 and will see many of its parts, such as the campaign and destinations like The Tangled Shore, eliminated next month. As always, time will tell but for now, anyone who raises the Bungie’s 30th Anniversary Pack can be reassured.

Destiny 2: The Queen of the Witch out on February 22nd for Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, PS5, PC and Google Stadia.
