Halo Infinite Lead Narrative Designer Departs 343 Industries, Joins Riot Games

Following the release of 343 Industries’ Infinite Halo, lead narrative designer Aaron Linde announced on New Year’s Eve via Twitter that he had left the studio. Although he describes it as “a terribly difficult decision” with the shooter remaining “one of the proudest achievements of my career for the rest of my life,” Linde confirmed that he is pursuing a new opportunity this year.

In a recent tweet with pictures of the popular anime Evangelization, he has since confirmed that he is joining the Riot Games. However, in what capacity – and on what title – it remains to be seen. Recently, Valuable previous game director Joe Ziegler publishing that he is moving to a new project with Andy Ho taking his place.

Riot Games also made news recently reach a $ 100 million settlement in its sex discrimination lawsuit beginning in 2018. The company also agreed to a third party monitoring its internal reporting and pay equity processes for the next three years in order to “drive ongoing transparency and accountability.” We’ll have to wait and see if any improvement comes from it though.
