After spending a few months as an exclusive Nintendo Switch, Monster Hunter Progress has now launched for PC via Steam as well, and the action RPG is off to a good start. Just outside the gate, the game has seen strong player numbers.
In accordance with the Steam activity charts, on its launch day, Monster Hunter Progress reach the maximum concurrent players of over 90,000 players – 90,773, to be precise. That, of course, is still far off the peak ever Monster Hunter World, who is currently sitting in over 334,000 players, so it should be interesting to see if the new installment manages to reach those kinds of figures in its lifetime.
Of course, Monster Hunter Rise is expansion, The sunrise, will launch for PC and Nintendo Switch this summer, and one would assume that will also boost player count and game engagement.
