2K Games has confirmed that WWE 2K22, his latest title in the Visual Concepts wrestling franchise, will be released on March 11th. A new trailer showcasing the game in action with various WWE Superstars is featured in live action segments. Check it out below.
After a disastrous release of WWE 2K20, WWE 2K22 aims to revive the series, offering revamped gameplay and new features. There is the MyGM Mode along with the new MyFaction Mode and the return of Universe Mode which allows one to customize each brand, up to the game card. Rey Mysterio is the cover athlete and star of the new 2K Showcase but pre-ordering the title nets three different Undertaker playable.
WWE 2K22 coming to Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. The Standard Edition costs $ 60 on previous gen platforms and $ 70 on current gen consoles. You can pick up the Trans-Gen Bundle – which includes Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S along with PS4 and PS5 versions in one package – for $ 80 (and net Rey Mysterio Starrcade ’96 Pack as well as the Undertaker’s Immortal Kit).
The Deluxe Edition offers the same content as the Cross-Gen Bundle but includes three-day early access and the Season Ticket for $ 100. Finally, the nWo 4-Life Edition which costs $ 120 and includes all Deluxe Edition content plus the nWo 4-Life Digital Bonus Pack (which includes nWo Superstars as playable characters plus the nWo Wolfpac Championship Belt and two additional arenas).
