An extended gameplay trailer shows off the game’s combat and stealth, while ray tracing and Nvidia DLSS implementation is confirmed for its PC version.
Given how surprisingly good its predecessor turned out to be, it’s no surprise that A Plague Tale: Requiem is one of the most highly regarded games of the year for a great many people out there. Recently published publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Asobo Studio confirmed that the action-adventure sequel’s specific launch date will be announced soon, and now we know when to expect it. The game is out in October.
The release date announcement is accompanied by an extended gameplay show that shows the game, as the injured Amicia and Hugo are once again pursued by soldiers. It starts with a chase sequence, which shows that you have a large number of foxes. It’s looking like an exciting follow-up, to say the least. Check out the full trailer below.
Meanwhile, Asobo Studio has always confirmed that it has partnered with Nvidia to implement ray tracing and DLSS technology in the game’s PC version.
A Plague Tale: Requiem launches on October 18 for PS5, Xbox Series X / S, and PC, best for Nintendo Switch for its cloud-exclusive release. It will also be available via Xbox and PC Game Pass at launch. A Collector’s Edition was also unveiled earlier this year. Read more on that through here.
