NOTE: There are spoilers ahead for God of War Ragnarok and God of War (2018).

God of War Ragnarok The series ‘Norse saga’ is wrapped, as Santa Monica Studio said it will be the first in its launch, but in fact, it is not a game that fully wraps the story in front of all. For example, there are a few big questions that fans have had for a while that the game has not answered – which Santa Monica Studio’s creative director Cory Barlog (who directed the game in 2018) mentioned in some recent tweets.

One of the biggest questions fans have had since the 2018 game came out – who blew the horn? To make it more clear, at a certain point in the game, Kratos can hear the trumpet that calls the World Serpent blowing. The game is very familiar with that fact, and the explanation of who blew it remains a mystery. The point is this God of War Ragnarok That question will be answered, but it shouldn’t be.

Revealing the enduring mystery, Barlog asked fans to “keep the faith” in a recent tweet, suggesting that’s a question he hopes to answer later. “One day I will be fit enough to create the time to answer this,” he wrote. He also shot down a theory in a later tweet, saying that the trumpet was not Kratos blowing Gjallarhorn at the beginning of Ragnarok, Kratos heard it.

Likewise, the actual story of the Earth Serpent can be saved for a future title. God of War Ragnarok it shows a moment mentioned in the first one, where Thor hits Jormungandr during their battle at Ragnarok and the force is shot back into the past (after the time when Kratos met and Atreus in the Lake of Nine in 2018. games).

But how did the Serpent go back? Discussing that moment in another tweet, Barlog said “that’s a story for another game.”

Of course, it doesn’t predict the future God of War title, especially when one thinks that the next installment will take the series to another new legendary place. Interestingly, Santa Monica Studios seems to have a lot of projects at the moment- maybe one of them could be a small standalone series to tie up the remaining ends in the series ‘Norse saga? There are eight ways, it may take a long time to answer those questions.
