Thunder Tier One Is A New Tactical Shooter From PUBG Developer
Thunder Tier One Is actually A New Tactical Shooter From PUBG Developer :
The Game Awards reveals keep on coming, this time with a new tactical top down shooter called Thunder Tier One. The game sees one to 4 players take on the roles of elite operatives tasked with taking down terrorists. This may happen in single player or perhaps with co op, and operatives can also test their ability against one another in PvP. You will not have to wait long to enjoy it often, as a special Steam gameplay preview is currently available.
Thunder Tier One : The Passion Project
Thunder Tier One is actually the brainchild of PUBG Head of Action and Gunplay Unit Pawel Smolewski. He apparently had the idea in 2016 and started it up with a small team as a passion project. Earlier this year, he showed it to PUBG developer Krafton Inc. Today the first team continues work but with the bigger Krafton backing it.
Thunder Tier One’s Game Awards trailer showed off a “strategic and realistic” modern military shooter. Players view the battlefield from above, silently moving their operative into position. When the firefights start, cover and mobility will be essential.
Thunder Tier One On Steam!
The gameplay preview is going to run on Steam this weekend, from December ten at 8pm PST through Sunday, December thirteen at 8am PST. Those who participate will have the ability to try out 2 campaign missions in single player or perhaps co op. Multiplayer is going to be available as well, with 2 modes called Advance and Secure and Deathmatch.
Now that Thunder Tier One is officially revealed, Smolewski had this to say: “We’re thankful to the community of ours for their feedback and encouragement so much, and to KRAFTON, Inc. for helping the indie team of ours. It is exciting for us to now introduce the title to a wider audience and we are looking forward to seeing players’ reactions to Thunder Tier One.”
As to the future of the game, not much is actually known outside of the gameplay preview. It is confirmed for Steam, but there is no word on consoles. There is also no word on in case it’ll be paid or perhaps free-to-play. Something we do know is the fact that it is going to support mods. There’s also an already active Discord group which could be great for finding teammates for the preview.
