Several games have been remade over the years, but Dead Space’s a revival that has had the biggest impact of them all. The title was considered a masterpiece when it was initially released in 2008. The unaltered horror elements it introduced were unique for games of that era, and the remake managed to recreate that nostalgic essence until to the last pixel.
There is also the New Game Plus mode, which introduces bonus content in the form of an alternate ending and many other rewards. The original game took 12 hours to finish, and the Remake is no exception. There are 12 chapters in total, all of which can be completed in about an hour. Some chapters have been reworked to make them even longer, but not by much. The average clearance time remains the same. However, the graphics have improved significantly, and you’re in for a treat if you’re playing it for the first time.
