Executive producer Jared Neuss says there will be information soon on “what the year holds” for the free-to-play hero shooter.
Overwatch 2 has had quite an influx of content over the last few months, with a new hero in Ramattra, a new Control map, and One-Punch Man collaboration event. However, an updated roadmap for the future has not yet been provided. According to executive producer Jared Neuss, that seems to be coming soon.
Responding on Twitter, he said, “We intend to give a glimpse of what the year has in store Overwatch 2 soon!” Of course, it remains to be seen when that information will come. If the development team follows the same cadence, the next hero should arrive in Season 4.
However, he has yet to provide details on the much-anticipated PvE content that was a big part of the game’s initial marketing. All we know is that these collaborative story tours will be coming this year, but how many and how regularly is unknown. Hopefully the upcoming “insight” has some answers.
Overwatch 2 available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
We plan to give you a glimpse of what the year has in store for Overwatch 2 soon!
