The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Realm is easily one of the biggest upcoming releases of the year, and with just over two months to go until launch, anticipation for its release continues to build. Although many will have been hoping that Nintendo will start talking more about the game as we get closer to its launch, it doesn’t look like the company is ready to start that process just yet.

PAX East is set to take place in Boston later this month, from March 23 to March 26, however, Nintendo has confirmed that although it will be in attendance, it will not be bringing its biggest upcoming release to’ the event.

In a statement to the Boston Heralda Nintendo representative said, “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Realm It will not be shown at PAX East 2023.”

To be fair, there wouldn’t be much expectation that PAX East would bring with it a major new showing of the open world title, but it’s good to get confirmation from Nintendo either way. Of course, this begs the question of when exactly Nintendo will show off more of the game, especially with not much left until release now – one would assume the company will have a Direct showcase purpose planned for sometime in the coming weeks.
