The pixel-art role-playing game releases on August 29th and will also be available for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Sabotage Studio’s Sea of Stars, a fun throwback to classic RPGs, is releasing for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on August 29th. It’s already confirmed for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC, with a demo now available on the Nintendo eShop.
Set in the same universe as The Messenger, the story focuses on Valere and Zale, who use Eclipse Magic to fight against the Fleshmancer and their creations. Other party members with unique goals, abilities and backstories also join the six-player game. The battle is turn based and focuses on planning, countering and timing attacks. Perhaps best of all, no towering is required, with progression balanced by story completion.
As players explore the world, they will climb and jump through different areas, allowing them to experience the beauty of environment modeling and pixel art. If that wasn’t enough, Yasunori Mitsuda is Xenoblade Chronicles celebrity who composes the album. Stay tuned for more information and gameplay in the coming months.
