Ubisoft has announced that it will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the release of Far cry 5 with an update to the game. Although details about the update have not been disclosed, the company said that it includes the “most needed features for the next-gen consoles.”
The company took the official Far Cry Twitter account for the announcement, and while it did not reveal any information about what the update might involve, the announcement indicates that it will be a complete improvement of the gen for now. Far cry 5 to use features on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Far cry 5 was first released in March 2018. The game puts players in the shoes of a sheriff who is sent to Hope County, Montana to arrest cult leader Joseph Seed. After the first capture attempt goes wrong, the player must pass through the other members of Seed’s cult as they fight their way through the stage.
