Ahead of the third game’s launch, the Atelier Ryza titles have shipped over 600,000 additional units since their last milestone in March 2021.
Before launch Atelier Ryza 3: The Alchemist of the End and the Secret KeyKoei Tecmo and developer Gust provided updated shipping numbers for the series. Atelier Ryza 1 a 2 has now crossed 1.6 million units shipped worldwide, around 600,000 more than the last milestone in March 2021.
Atelier Ryza: Eternal Darkness and the Hidden Hideout launched in October 2019 for PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. It became the series’ best-selling entry yet, with 500,000 units sold by August 2020. It was followed by Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and the Secret Fairyreleased in January 2021 for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
As for the third game in the series, it launches on March 24th for the same platforms. It sees Ryza and her friends return to their hometown and investigate strange islands and ruins that have appeared. Along with the largest cast yet, it has the largest world with no loading screens between the interconnected maps. Stay tuned for more details when it arrives next week.
