Running the action RPG on PC at 1080p resolution with High Ray Tracing and quality settings requires an RTX 3070 Ti (8GB).
Old Lady Mama, FromSoftware’s acclaimed open-world action RPG, finally supports ray tracing, specifically ambient ray occlusion and shadows. Initial impressions from modder Lance Macdonald weren’t very good. The internal graphics were not affected, the performance was “severely hit” on the GeForce 2070 Super, and there is no DLSS 3 support.
With the Patch 1.09 release now available, the requirements for tracking rays on PC have been revealed. Gamers will likely need a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8 GB) or Radeon RX 6700 XT (12 GB) with 16 GB RAM, Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT and Windows 10 .This allows for Low Ray Scanning at low settings and 1080p resolution.
Recommended requirements include Windows 11, Core i7-10700K or Ryzen 7 3800XT, 16 GB RAM, and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti (8 GB) or Radeon RX 6900 XT (16 GB). This ensures High Ray Detection in high quality and 1080p resolution. Of course, without a lot of testing, it’s hard to tell how it will perform, even with the recommended requirements.
Waiting for more information now. Old Lady Mama available for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
