It may be #EvenStronger than previous entries, but WWE 2K23 still has some issues on PC. Here are a few fixes which should help.

Visual Concepts’ latest information on the WWE 2K series is finally available and WWE 2K23. There’s a lot to look forward to this year, but perhaps the most impressive is that the PC version is the same as the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions. Unfortunately, this does not mean that the game is free from bad things, especially in the Universe Mode, performance, progress beyond the loading screen and more. Let’s look at a few ways to implement some of these.

Before doing that, please note that these methods should be used at the discretion of the system owner. GamingBolt or its employees are not responsible for problems or problems that may arise from trying it out. Remember that official support is always the best support.

PC Requirements

Let’s take a look at the PC requirements first. You need Windows 10 64-bit, DirectX 12 and 80 GB of installed space regardless of your configuration. A hard drive is recommended, but a DirectX 9.0ce compatible and AVX-compatible processor is also required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3550 or AMD FX 8150
  • Note: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 480

Recommended Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD FX 8350
  • Note: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 580

All in all, there is nothing crazy when it comes to user requirements. Now, let’s delve into some of the issues.

Performance Issues

Those who are experiencing problems with the frame rate should update their graphics drivers – download the same from the official websites of Nvidia and AMD. Verify your file on Steam as well. Go to your Steam Library, click on the game, and select Properties, then go to Files to verify that the files are correct.

Another solution involves switching from the full image to the window pane. It’s not a good guarantee but it should help.

Manager is not working

There are a few complaints about the controller not working on the PC, which can be addressed in different ways. If you’re using a DualSense controller, connect it directly to the USB-C cable.

Otherwise, you can turn off Steam Input. Right-click on the game in your Library, select Properties and look for the Game Manager. Click on the menu that says “Use default settings” and select Disable Steam.

You can also check if Steam can find your controller. Go to Settings, click on the Admin tab and then click on Advanced Settings. The settings related to your device should be displayed here.

Click on Load View

Another commonly reported bug involves games getting stuck on the install screen. You can address this in several ways, such as verifying the correctness of the files, updating GPU drivers, and performing a new installation of the game. Another option is to delete the Download Cache on Steam. Do this by going into Settings, selecting the Downloads tab and selecting “Clear Download Cache.”

Control disappears in Universe Mode

When you play in Universe Mode, you will notice that bosses often disappear. The problem still persists without a fix, but one suggested solution is to have someone else in the first instance of the manager because it might get in the way. Set your desired controls in the other two spaces. You won’t get any separate information for Bloodline, The Judgment Day or Damage CTRL, but they will come together (hopefully).

WWE 2K23 available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out our official review for more information.

Note: Given the variety of PC tools available, some of the instructions mentioned here may not work for you. However, it’s worth giving them a shot because these have worked for some players.
