Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Tekken 8, this time showing off the gameplay for Jack-8. Check the new trailer out below.
The trailer shows off the general gameplay style of Jack-8, as well as giving us a glimpse of some of the character’s new moves and combos for the upcoming fighting game.
Much like older versions of the Jack character from before Tekken games., Jack-8 seems to be a slower-paced character with a focus on heavy hits and short combos. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of some of Jack-8’s special abilities, leading to the summoning of a giant gun to finish off a combo.
Earlier this week, Tekken 8 see reveal Lars Alexandersson as a member of his roster. A similar gameplay trailer was released for Lars, showing off some of his moveset and giving us an idea of his general gameplay style.
Tekken 8 is being developed on Unreal Engine 5, and will be coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. While the game doesn’t have a release date yet, it’s expected to hit store shelves sometime before April 2024.
