The long-rumored revival seems to be on the rise Steel Cast Iron 3 will finally be revealed at the PlayStation Showcase later today (and it won’t be only PS5, contrary to previous reports), although interesting, it may not be the only one new things. Metal tools announcements planned for the coming days and weeks.

According to Windows Central’s Jez Corden, Konami is also planning to publish a Metal Gear Solid Classic Collection soon – perhaps next month, although exactly where the announcement will be made remains to be seen. According to Corden, the collection will include remastered versions of the original Cast Iron, Cast Iron 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

It is also said that the restoration of the collection, similar to what was mentioned before Steel Cast Iron 3 again, it will be multiplatform. Given how old these three games are, does that mean they will also be released for the Nintendo Switch? It remains to be seen.

Either way, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of a revamp Strong Cast Iron collection, with reports at the beginning of the year also saying that the same thing is being considered behind the scenes at Konami.
