Two new characters join an already-packed roster, with even more to be revealed en route to the game’s release on PS4, PS5 and PC.
Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy: Reconnect showed up at the PlayStation Showcase with a new arcade game. Check it out below. Coming to PS4, PS5 and PC, the action RPG has been in development for years and faced many delays. However, the window is currently Winter 2023, so we’ll see if it arrives this year (or early next year).
The trailer confirms that two more characters in the list have already been installed: Zeta, a spear with a “fire quality,” and Vaseraga, a large charge that can damage tanks. They join 16 already confirmed characters, and Cygames promise more to come plus more.
While each fighter has a unique play style, they add to the party stack in many ways. Playing around sees the AI controlling the other three members, but Granblue Fantasy: Reconnect It also supports cooperation with up to four players.
