Published by Finji, the side-scrolling adventure involves making friends, fostering a community and becoming a witch’s familiar.
The Honorable Society, developed the star Night in the Wildand Finji, publisher of I was a Teenage Exocolonist and Tunicfound hearing Revenant Hill. This racing game is based on Twigs, a cat that looks like Mae from Night in the Forest. It was 1919, and he had to pay the rent for his house near a grave.
Along the way, he will grow and sell crops, make friends (and enemies), talk to ghosts, party with witches and demons, build a village and watch the world change over the years. You can also create hexes and spells, visit the “alien races” of the world, and eventually try to become a normal witch. As the world changes, an evil force begins to manifest, and it’s your job to fight back.
Other collaborators on the project include A Shell in the Pit, which is doing the fine design; Secret Lab, which works on the system of dialogue; and Priscilla Snow, who composed the music. Finji is responsible for QA, marketing, promotion management and more. There is no release window, so stay tuned for more information.
