As 2021 fills with postponed specials, the same number of extreme sports will be competing for the most prestigious awards in the country. celebrate all the games of the year in the new month. However, Xbox head Phil Spencer seems to have already made his own choice for game of the year.
In a conversation with Larry Hyrb, aka Major Nelson – which you can check out below – Spencer said Psychonauts 2 probably his game of the year, and called the best game Double Fine Productions has released so far.
“That’s right for me [Psychonauts 2] maybe my game of the year – just [a] great game, ”Spencer said (written by Xbox mom). “In my view, as a fan of Double Fine, [it’s] the best game they ever gave up. ”
Spencer also remembered playing the first film Psychonauts 2’s liberated and amazed at the good that remains to this day. He says: “At first Psychonauts 2 it came out that I actually went back and played the original copy Psychonauts just to reminisce about those times – I was really impressed with how that turned out. “
